Plan Meetings

Do you have a challenge picking good times to meet people when they live and work accross different cities and timezones in the world? World Calendar is the app for you! It can help you find a time, and solve complex juggling of timezones. Since World Calendar is more than just a clock, you can see future dates and times, and easily pick the right time for your meeting.

Meeting

Got the app already? Let’s create that meeting.

First, if you have not turned on calendar integration in the app’s settings , I suggest you do. This will allow you to create the calendar event once you find the right time. Then go and plan your meeting!

  1. Add/enable the city timezone for each of your attendies

    Timezone view

  2. Tap the screen anywhere to drop the purple bar over a potential meeting time. This allows you to visually explore possible times, while considering the participants local time.

  3. Be sure to review the date and not just the time, in case of weekends, etc. World Calendar is great at this (and it even takes into account daylight saving changes!).

  4. Once you are happy, tap the purple bar again to create the event. The event will be created in the timezone where you tapped the purple bar. To create in your home timezone, tap the bar on the far left.

  5. Set the end time for the event as needed, and invite others. You can add their emails directly in the edit view, or just share the time.
